Brooklynn Proulx joins "Shelter"

According to Variety, Brooklynn Proulx will star alongside Julianne Moore and Jonathan Rhys Meyers in the psychological thriller Shelter, directed by Mans Marlind and Bjorn Stein.

The premise is being kept under wraps.

Brooklynn Proulx ("Brokeback Mountain") has landed supporting roles in "Fireflies in the Garden" and "The Heaven Project." Seven-year-old thesp plays the tomboy cousin to Ryan Reynolds' character in "Fireflies," helmed by Dennis Lee. Lensing is under way in Austin, Texas. She'll also play Paul Walker's daughter in "Heaven" for writer-director John Glenn.

Proulx recently wrapped "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford," Lifetime telepic "Don't Cry Now" and TNT's "Saving Grace."
